In Romans 8:28, it says, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."

At IOU Missions we believe that everyone is important, everyone is precious in

the eyes of God and has a divine purpose in this life.  Many do not know just

how very special and loved they truly are by the Creator.

​

Jesus wants us to show his love by reaching out to our neighbors with the same unconditional love that He bore for us on that cross.  To be there when someone

is weak and hurting, to say, "I care, lean on me and we will get through this together." To "WALK the WALK" not just "TALK the TALK".

At IOU Missions we strive to give our best to all.  Not only by helping others with food, clothing and basic necessities of life but to share and teach life skills that

lift people up so that they in turn can share the knowledge with others.  Everyone has something to share, it may be a gentle smile, a sense of humor, a listening

ear or a loving heart.  It may be that they have practical skills, like carpentry, gardening, finances, plumbing or food preservation and cooking.  Whatever,

the abilities are, it can be used to bless and uplift someone else's life.

We would like to invite anyone, no matter how old or how young, how strong

or how weak, how rich or how poor you are, to take the time to bless someone

else so they in turn can be a blessing.  That is how we show the love of Jesus Christ.
